‘Bringing together three years of photographic exploration in one spectacular event, Belinda Wilson’s Theatre of One photographic exhibition at La Galleria Pall Mall launched a new Self Portraiture. Belinda’s Theatre of One reflects her creativity in front of and behind the camera; she is photographer and model synonymously. This narrative was displayed as 23 large-scale, limited edition prints. Faced with these cinematic compositions her viewers become a confidant of her visions and stories. The photographs’ visual vocabulary are full of candour, nuance and clarity. I had the great pleasure of working alongside the artist and photographer, Belinda Wilson whilst curating the ‘Theatre of One” exhibition. It was was a successful collaboration resulting in a stunning show including two lively private views. The exhibition established the emerging artist’s name in the world of photography. Belinda has produced a huge back catalogue of inspirational and thought  provoking artwork, most of which can be found in the published book assembled for the “The Theatre of One’ show. This collection of work reflects her own introspection and symbolic interpretation of her dreams and through it she is seen as an incongruous figure; juxtaposed in a mythical landscape. She has set the scene. The right moment comes together in a blink of an eye and she invites her audience to be part of an intimate and powerful moment. Her vision comes to life’
